AutoForm-LineWelding

AutoForm-LineWelding enables you to determine the influence of thermal effects on dimensional accuracy during the line welding of joined parts. The software allows you to define the weld line for both plane and filet welds on parts to be joined. You can also specify and include in the simulation various process parameters which are important for the line welding process, such as welding power, speed, and direction, in order to calculate the effect of thermal loading in the heat-affected zone. Based on the change of strains and stresses in this zone, you can determine the impact of thermal effects on the dimensional accuracy of the assembly.

AutoForm-LineWelding allows you to consider the time-dependent thermal behavior of the process, enabling accurate welding simulations. You can easily simulate the line welding process and better understand the issues that may arise as well as the effect these would have on the quality of the assembly. With AutoForm-LineWelding, you can optimize the line welding process already in the process engineering stage.
