Process Design with a New Approach

In this webinar, we will discuss:

• How the overall workflow of geometry creation is carried out within a single platform
• The creation of high quality surfaces with stamping dedicated features
• New surface quality evaluation features when preparing for manufacturing

We will review a completed concept design example and move directly into a high quality surface creation for the draw process design. The emphasis will be on the fast creation of the final design features, with intent to directly use these faces for delivery to either a CNC team Tool Design (Solids) or to begin compensation. No extensive time should be needed to “clean up” or “repair” the surfaces created.

Who should join

Engineers and managers, which have responsibility for creation of final design data for manufacturing and compensation for stamping die processes. Emphasis will be on creation of and modification of tooling surfaces within the AutoForm software environment.
