AutoForm Global Webinar
How Data created in engineering will effectively support issues troubleshooting during tool tryout
The tool shop is where die lines come to life. It is the place where the digital world of simulation turns into reality. Tools undergo trials, modifications and tests until their capability of producing in-quality parts is evidenced (proved). The duration of the trials is undetermined but limited anyways. Deadlines by which tool makers must deliver in-quality tools, are well established. Miss the deadlines is off the table, not an option! And quality cannot be traded for speed or other factors because a lack of quality would certainly lead to an increase of costs, mine the quality of sub-assemblies and jeopardize the reputation (rating) of the tool maker. There is quite a lot at stake! But is quality only up to tryout teams? What is and what should and could be the role played by stamping engineering in all this picture? Are they part of the responsibilities, or the tool shops are supposed to bear the whole weight by themselves?
In this webinar we will go through the analyses that stamping process engineering must consider to designing in-quality die-lines. Plus, we will see what data they can create to effectively help tryout teams troubleshooting issues so that the designed quality is kept, and deadlines are met without concessions.
In this webinar, we will talk about:
