AutoForm Engineering GmbH has opened a new subsidiary office in Shanghai. This new office enables AutoForm to be closer to the fast growing Chinese market in order to better serve customers with the full range of AutoForm’s products and services.
With numerous local and global automotive companies in China, the market is still growing rapidly. With this development, the demand for robust and efficient production processes for high quality sheet metal parts is on the rise. For more than 15 years now, AutoForm has been working very successfully with its distribution partner in supporting customers and their needs in the Chinese market. The rapidly growing demand for AutoForm software and services in this flourishing market has clearly shown that opening a new office will benefit both AutoForm and its customers. Having additional specialists in sheet metal forming on site and in close proximity to its customers, makes AutoForm’s expertise in sheet metal forming available to them in their local environment and their local language.
As of the beginning of this year, AutoForm Software (Shanghai) Ltd. is the main office in the Chinese market. The team of almost 20 experts in sheet metal stamping, who are located in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenzhen, Changchun and Wuhan will support more than 100 customers in China. These customers are local and global automotive OEMs and toolmakers, such as Geely, Chery, BYD, Changan, TQM, GAC, BAIC and SAIC.
